I would recommend this course to anybody who is interested or actively involved in coaching teams / athletes as well as those interested in working in the Sports Injury Rehabilitation field. I am from a GAA background and the knowledge and experience gained during this course has not only enabled me to ensure that the players in St Sylvester’s GAA get prompt attention and treatment of their injuries, but also, more importantly, it has guided me in my ability to ensure correct technique and safe exercise for my team to reduce the amount of injuries which occur in the first place.

Pat, Dave and Tina’s high level of practical experience regarding the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries is second to none. Add to that their years’ of experience in the sporting field and you will also gain a wealth of knowledge and understanding of fitness and conditioning unlike any available on any other Sports or Remedial Therapy course.

The course is tough going but the rewards far outweigh the work put in throughout the year and the benefits will be seen by your team / athletes before long.

I qualified from NSRT 3 years ago and I have been working in the field of fitness & conditioning and Sports Injury therapy since then. The nature of the business is that with new science, technology and training techniques the job is constantly changing and new injuries often come to light. Three years on, Pat, David and Tina are always on the other end of the phone to offer assistance and advise to ensure that your learning continues beyond the completion of the course.

I would suggest that every club should have a qualified NSRT Injury Therapist working for them. The fees are relatively low when compared with the Physio bills that clubs are faced with today as we advance our fitness levels to deal with the current demands of our sport. Your club’s on-site therapist can advise coaches and trainers to enhance injury prevention throughout the training year ensuring that all players are fit and ready for action when the all important “Championship” comes around.
