NSRT Courses - On Field Treatment of Sport Injuries

This one day workshop is designed for people who have little or no knowledge of the on-field treatment of sports injuries. The workshop will be mainly practical giving participants the opportunity to practise the various techniques involved.

The workshop will concentrate on over 30 of what the tutor considers to be the most common injuries to the upper and lower limbs sustained during sporting activity. Each injury is presented with information on the mechanism of injury, treatment protocols, and return to play guidelines.

On completion of the workshop participants will have the knowledge to safely treat sports injuries on the field of play.

• The Medical Bag
• The on-field assessment
• Concussion Management
• Spinal Injury Management
• When to refer for professional help
• How to prevent legal problems

Workshop Duration:

• 1 Day (Saturday 9-6pm)

• €240 (€210 for NSRT graduates)
