Nicki Walsh Biog

Nicki always had a keen interest in sports, representing her secondary school in football, basketball, badminton & hockey. She then took up Martial Arts in 1999 beginning her training in Tae Kwan Do before starting to study Shika Do Karate in 2001. She has since achieved her Black & White belt in Dec 06 and is due to test for her Black Belt in Dec 08.   
Since joining the Shika Do School she has assisted her partner Austin in teaching children classes and Rape Prevention classes. This class then went on to become a ladies only class. At present they both teach four nights a week in Dublin.

Nicki decided to begin studying to become a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist after seeing the results Austin had both with his own injury and with his clients. She qualified in Jan 2006 and now along with Austin has clinics in Donore and Croke Parc Handball Alley's. She was also part of the Massage team for the Ulster Open Handball Championship's. Nicola is also qualified in Holistic Massage Therapy and Indian Head Massage and has achieved level 1 in Reiki. She is at present Trainee Tutor with the N.S.R.T. school and will be finished in June 2009.
