As a complete beginner with no background in this type of industry I found the course unbelievably interesting and exciting. Though I struggled with the anatomy in the beginning as I started to practice, firstly on friends and neighbours I started to look up their injuries before they came for a treatment so bit at a time the language became easier.

As word of mouth spread my client base increased to the point of having a full diary for my evenings and Saturdays. By just mentioning I was doing this to a local GAA club my client base has soared. I regularly check in with the Manager for feedback and its so positive I've been asked to be the Sports Therapist for the DIT hurling team. I also look after the Na Fianna Junior Hurling team. I have achieved this within 9 months of starting the course. Hopefully I will achive so much more when I complete the course.
